Which application tracks are available?
+
Which application tracks are available?
+We currently recruit across four tracks: Equity Analyst, Equity Trainee, Quantitative Analyst, and Macro Research.
Analyst roles are designed for candidates who can already contribute at a high level. The trainee track is intended for students with potential who are still building toward that level.
Do I need prior investing or finance experience?
+
Do I need prior investing or finance experience?
+For analyst roles, yes. Strong prior experience is expected, especially in investing, financial modelling, and accounting.
Applicants should already be comfortable with serious research and ideally familiar with areas such as value investing and macro investing.
For less experienced candidates, we also offer a trainee track. In most cases, analyst positions are better suited to second-year students and above, although exceptional first-year candidates may still be considered if they submit a genuinely strong pitch.
What should applicants submit for each track?
+
What should applicants submit for each track?
+Equity Analyst applicants are expected to submit an investment pitch.
Quantitative Analyst applicants should submit a relevant quantitative project they have completed.
Macro Research applicants should submit either a short article they have written or a well-developed view on a macroeconomic event or theme.
Equity Trainee applicants are not required to submit a pitch, but doing so is strongly encouraged because it helps us assess both effort and skill level.
What does the application process look like after I submit the form?
+
What does the application process look like after I submit the form?
+After submitting the form, applicants for analyst roles are expected to submit an investment pitch or other relevant material for their track.
If you do not hear back within around three to four weeks, you should assume your application has not progressed.
Successful applicants typically go through an interview process, beginning with a technical discussion and then a more general conversation as the process moves forward.
How often do you recruit?
+
How often do you recruit?
+Applications for analyst roles are generally rolling, so candidates can apply throughout the year. However, spaces are limited.
For more senior or leadership positions, we may set a deadline and review all candidates together rather than on a rolling basis.

Working in the Fund
How the fund is structured and what day-to-day contribution looks like once accepted.
How much weekly time commitment is expected?
+
How much weekly time commitment is expected?
+It depends on the role and your learning curve. Trainees should expect to spend more time initially as they work to catch up.
For analysts, the usual commitment is around three hours of work per week, plus a one- to two-hour team meeting.
The fund is structured around student schedules, so activity is generally lighter during holidays and exam periods.
Is the fund in-person, remote, or hybrid?

+Members mainly support their team lead or portfolio manager through research.
This usually includes deep fundamental research, building DCF models, preparing investment pitches, and presenting ideas internally.
A typical process involves completing a full model, writing a short two-page summary, and then pitching the idea in a meeting.
